A new version (1.7.1) is now available for iOS users and will be available to Android users shortly. A full list of changes is as follows:
- Rework of Calibration screen in settings menu to help users better calculate correct offset times.
- Added manual mode to video offset calculation in calibration mini-game to help users visualize and fine tune the video offset for their device.
- Fix for a bug related to specific text fields in certain languages.
- Fix for note issue that may have been responsible for some video offset inconsistencies.
- Fix for issue where users watching ads would sometimes be logged out of the app when they returned from the ad.
- Possible fix for users who are being shown ads and not credited with coins for them.
- Fix for some minor translation errors in some languages.
- Added new loading screen graphic.
- Fix for a display issue that occurred with tags added to song banner at song select.
- Fix for popularity sort having gaps for songs not available on that platform.
- Tweaks of settings menus with new graphics and some options have changed locations.
- Fix for crashing issue related to high score fields for new songs.
- Fix for visual effects to display at the correct time for sufficiently high video offsets.
- Fix for issue where sometimes at song load, “ghost notes” would already be present on the wheel before slowly disappearing as the song progressed.
- Possible fix for issue where some notes disappeared when changing speeds in gameplay.
- Fix for notes not updating their visible areas at the correct time, leading to backs of notes disappearing briefly when at the top of the note roller.
- Added control option for virtual joypad with inverted screen.
- Added timer to pause button when resuming game from pause.
- Added quality settings option for 3d notes. Disabling sets notes to be 2d. (different note color schemes with 2d notes not currently supported)
- Moving to different screens in the options menu when hitting any of the save buttons now correctly saves all options.
- Scores are now consistent across difficulties in regard to timing (ability to get “good” notes is still easier on easier difficulties)
- “Miss” now correctly appears far sooner after a note is missed (immediately after passing the “late” window)
- New note explosion graphic
Users will be prompted when hitting the start button on the title screen of the newest version to select a control method and asked if they wish to calibrate their offsets (After having done this, the game will not prompt you again when restarting the game)
